Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Context:

We are the digital heartbeat of the city. We are not just a ride-hailing app; we are an essential daily utility handling 1M+ transactions every single day. Our ecosystem has matured into 12 interconnected services—spanning Mobility (beBike, beCar, beTaxi), Logistics (beDelivery, beFood), Travel (Flight, Train, Bus), Home Services, and embedded Finance. We are entering our next evolution: scaling from a multi-service platform to an AI-enabled technology powerhouse. We need a battle-tested Engineering General to lead this charge.

The Role:

You will serve as the Head of Engineering, commanding a division of 120+ technologists across Backend, Mobile, Web, SRE, QA, and Technical Program Management.

This is a massive, pure Engineering Leadership mandate. You are the Architect of the Machine that builds the product.

While Product defines the “What,” you own the “How,” the “When,” and the “At Scale.” Your scope is not limited to code; you are responsible for the technical integrity of a 12-vertical ecosystem, the velocity of our delivery pipeline, and the operational resilience of a platform that millions rely on. You do not just manage a team; you orchestrate a high-frequency, high-concurrency distributed system.

What You Will Deliver:

1. Architecting the “Super App” Ecosystem

You will own the technical vision for a complex, 12-vertical platform. You must maintain a unified core architecture (Golang/Microservices) that supports diverse business lines—from the real-time urgency of ride dispatch to the transactional security of fintech. Your mandate is to eliminate technical debt, decouple services, and architect the system for the next 10x scale.

2. Pragmatic AI & Engineering Innovation

You will drive the practical implementation of AI models and GenAI tools to create engineering leverage.

• Efficiency: Integrate GenAI coding assistants and automation into the DevOps pipeline to radically increase developer velocity and reduce boilerplate.
• Implementation: Partner with Data Science to operationalize ML models for dispatch optimization, fraud detection, and dynamic pricing—ensuring they run with production-grade latency.
• Future-Proofing: Lead the engineering implementation of next-gen features like automated support agents and hyper-personalized UI.

3. Operational Resilience (99.99%)

In our business, downtime is not just an inconvenience; it halts the city’s economy. You will drive the SRE and Security strategy. You will balance the need for speed with the absolute requirement for stability, implementing chaos engineering and advanced observability to ensure our platform is ironclad.

4. Strategic Integration & Ecosystem Expansion

You will be the technical architect behind our external connectivity, managing high-complexity integrations with third-party platforms:

• Multi-Modal Transport: Build seamless API integrations with OTAs and transit providers (Flight, Bus, Train, Metro) to enable unified door-to-door travel booking.
• B2B, Loyalty & E-commerce: Develop robust APIs to connect with major B2B platforms, Loyalty exchanges, and E-commerce giants, enabling seamless logistic synchronization and inventory data exchange.

5. Building a High-Performance Culture

You will build a tribe, not just a team. You will foster an engineering culture defined by Ownership, Speed, and Learning. You will construct clear technical career ladders, attract top-tier talent, and ensure that our engineers are constantly challenging the status quo.
