Introduction Service “Be to Province”

1. Service introduction:

From December 19, 2019, the “be to province” call taxi service will be officially launched
and completely replace the previous beRental service.

“Be to province” helps you book a bike or a car from cities with beBike and beCar services in presence (Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Danang, Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Nha Trang) to adjacent provinces and neighboring areas at an affordble cost.

“Be to province” can help customers go on 1-way and 2-way trips. A driver can choose a return trip’s waiting time with a maximum duration of 3 days.

2. Charges

The cost shown on the app is a total charge paid by a customer for a 1-way or 2- way trip, inclusive of value-added tax (VAT), with specifications listed below:

2.1 Two-way fare:

a. beBike

Note:
* Min fare includes the price of 120 minutes for the first 50 km.
** The price per minute is charged from the 121th minute onwards until a rider returns to the starting point.
“*** Any trip which starts/ends between 1 am to 4 am or starts before 1 am and ends after 4 am AND lasts over 8 hours (including waiting fee) will be applied the overnight cost.”

b. beCar

Note:
* Min fare includes the price of 120 minutes for the first 50 km.
** The price per minute is charged from the 101th minute onwards until a rider returns to the starting point.
“*** Any trip which starts/ends between 1 am to 4 am or starts before 1 am and ends after 4 am AND lasts over 8 hours (including waiting fee) will be applied the overnight cost.”

Example 1:
A customer booking a 2-way trip with a 4-seater beCar departing at 20h00 from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau. The distance between the pick-up and drop-off locations is 90km. The travel time from the pick-up location to the destination (1 way) is 130 minutes. The waiting time for return is 480 minutes. The trip fare will be calculated as follows:

2.2 One-way fare:

a. beBike

Note:
* Min fare includes the price of 60 minutes for the first 25 km
**The price per minute is charged from the 61st minute onwards until returning to the starting point.
*** Any trip which starts/ends between 1 am to 4 am or starts before 1 am and ends after 4 am will be applied the overnight cost AND lasts over 4 hours
**** With one-way trips to a province, the trip fare is automatically multiplied to support riders to travel in the return trip.

b. beCar

Note:
* Min fare includes the price of 60 minutes for the first 25 km
**The price per minute is charged from the 51st minute onwards until returning to the starting point.
*** Any trip which starts/ends between 1 am to 4 am or starts before 1 am and ends after 4 am will be applied the overnight cost AND lasts over 4 hours
**** With one-way trips to a province, the trip fare is automatically multiplied to support riders to travel in the return trip.

Example 2:
A customer books a 1-way trip with a 4-seater beCar departing at 20h00 from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau. The distance between the pick-up point and destination is 90km. The travel time from the pick-up point to the destination (1 way) is 130 minutes, departing from 8:00 to 10:10. The trip fare will be calculated as follows:

Note:
– The charges above haven’t included additional charges such as toll fees, airport fees, terminal fees,… Additional charges will be paid by a customer, a driver should exchange this information carefully before get going.
– Applied to the forms of payment by cash and company account. Once a customer has chosen to pay by one method, the full trip fee (including the waiting fee) will be paid using that one method.
– The charges displayed on the app at the start of the trip and the charges after completing the trip are subject to change after the app has added the waiting fee and calculated the exact distance that has been traveled. (Applicable to both a customer’s and driver’s applications).

2.3 Waiting fee

Waiting fee is calculated from the time a driver finishes the first trip until the start of the return trip. The waiting fee’s unit is every 30 minutes, in which:

• The first 10 minutes will not be charged
• From the 11th minute onwards, it will be rounded up and charged as a unit – 30 minutes.

Example 3:
The 2-way, 4-seater car journey is made from Ho Chi Minh to Vung Tau with the actual waiting time as in 2 following cases, the waiting fee will be:

3. How-to-use-“be to province”-service instruction (for customers)

Step 1: A customer switches from the “inner city” booking mode to “be to province” mode by selecting the “Go to Province” section, then key in the pick-up and drop-off points

Step 2: The customer selects a 1-way or “2-way” trip as the below screenshot

Note: When a customer picks a two-way trip, they will have to enter a waiting time to return. If the waiting time is more than 4 hours, tap on the last option to adjust the date and time when the return trip begins. Then click “confirm”

Step 3: Tap “Booking”
Step 4: The system will connect the customer’s booking request with an appropriate driver.
Step 5: The driver will contact the customer to confirm the trip and take the trip. The app will clearly show how long the waiting time is and when it’s about to end, all of which will be notified to the customer
